With degrees in mathematics and science, George Kirklin specializes in complex cases involving technical, scientific, financial and accounting issues. Over the years he has tried cases in such diverse fields as business torts, securities law, lender liability, finance, accounting and auditing standards, contracts, personal injury, neuropsychology, patent, failure analysis, antitrust, defamation, taxation and employment law.

George has tried nearly 300 cases in the state and federal courts of Oregon, Washington and California. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1986 and International Society of Barristers since 1976. The Best Lawyers in America® has listed George for over ten years in the areas of business and personal injury litigation. He is a past member of the Oregon State Board of Bar Examiners, serving as Chairman from 1978-79, and is an emeritus member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. In addition to his professional affiliations, George has been a speaker and contributor to many Continuing Education Programs in Oregon and Nevada on litigation-related topics.

George grew up in the Northeastern Oregon community of Baker City. He earned his A.B. from Harvard College in 1959 and his LL.B. from Harvard Law School in 1962.
